Ueshima HOZAN (1875-1920). He was born in Okayama Prefecture, studying with Kimura Kanzan, Nishiyama Kanei and Watanabe Shoeki. Hôzan was adept at the human figure, bird and flower painting is the Maruyama Shijo school.
