Comment:
Prints of courtesans, or any non-theatrical subject, are a rare among Osaka print artists. This deluxe series from about 1836 showing courtesans in costume was designed by several artists including Hokuei, Hokuju, Sadahiro, Sadanobu, Shigeharu and Yoshikuni.
